Any way to force 120hz on MacBook Pro? And any way to check current refresh rate?

Hi,

I had a couple of questions about the ProMotion 120hz displays.

  1. Can I force or ensure that the screen is 120hz (not adaptive)?
    I need this because the MacBook isn't adaptively ramping up to 120hz yet when they should be (more like 80hz or so). so I need to wait for Apple to adjust it.
  2. Is there somewhere or a Terminal command to check or monitor the current refresh rate of the screen?
