While I'm in Mail and Safari, the spinning wheel (like you see on startup) is going all the time. On Mail its doing it while checking for messages. With Safari it does it constantly, even when no page is being loaded.

no, mine only does it when it is sending and receiving information, maybe your is always trying to connect or something, do you have bad service near you?

No, I'm using good wifi signal. I think it might be caused by the messed up yahoo imap account. I disabled it and now the internet is fast (and no spinning wheels).
