iPhone Anyone else having an issue with the Share Sheet not working?

I noticed yesterday when I tried to share an article from the News app and pop up menu with share options was blank and froze momentarily. I thought maybe it was a problem with the app or source of the article but the same thing happened from Safari as well. I've turned phone off and on and nothing. Still having the issue today.

Happening to me as well. Try and share in safari and it basically shows nothing and performance goes to downhill. Typing lags at that point as well.

I have the same exact issue. Share function in all apps not working. It starts consuming lots of performance until I close the app where I started the sharing function. This is getting me nuts! First time with such a bug in my iPhone. I can’t find anything on the internet about it. Installed 13.4.1 today and nothing happened. Maybe an app recently installed? I deleted everything I installed since 13.4 but couldn’t fix it. An example from Photos app (pic).

On occasion when I try to share a photo to messages everything just seems to freeze. I'll usually close the app(s) and try again and it works. Its very frustrating because usually its when I said something and the person on the other end is waiting for a picture.

Selfishly, I'm glad it's not just me. 13.4.1 didn't resolve the issue for me either. I recently downloaded a VPN app, and I experienced the issue around the same time so I deleted it (even though I don't know why it would be an issue), and it didn't fix it either. I signed back up for the public beta hoping to get any kind of update asap. I never realized how often I share things, save articles on the News app for later reading, etc until now.

I'm surprised not more people are talking about this, it's a pretty important feature.

There is a fix , I uninstalled WhatsApp issue went away, for some reason , also after downloading WhatsApp again just disable it from share sheet

If you guys use WhatsApp AND have chats with non-contacts (e.g. not saved to contacts): there is an issue where WhatsApp tries to populate share sheet suggestions with non-contact chats which seems to crash the share sheet.

A quick fix would be enable screen lock in WhatsApp (FaceId etc.) as it disables share sheet suggestions.

They didn‘t. The update merely disables share sheet suggestions until they fixed the issue. So be cautious if you want to update, we don‘t know how long they take to re-release the suggestions feature.

Probably way easier to just add all the contacts you chat with than have the suggestions feature removed again.

Switching on FaceID in WhatsApp sorted it for me as well. That’s a relief, didn’t realise how much I shared until I couldn’t.

I'm having the same problem now... it sucks
I tried deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp, restarting my phone, turning on and off Siri Suggestions, I have the latest iOS but nothing works.
Anyone knows the solution?

OMG! Finally fixed it!
Have been trying for 5-7 hours honestly...
What helped me is deleting a recent chat in Viber with a person who's not in my contact list.
What a relief...

now I really hope this is gonna last

Hey everyone, even i had the empty share sheet bug, i fixed it by simply going to General settings>Reset>reset all settings. Pls try everyone don’t hesitate.
