You just shut them off in the Netflix app settings?

You have to go to their website and change setting there after logging into your account. If you google Netflix and turning off auto-trailers, Netflix has a page with instructions for how to do it.

It’d make more sense to be able to shut them off in the app but Netflix is unafraid of bad ideas.

I’ll try shutting off the previews. On my 4th gen ATV it has become unbearable. Fingers crossed.

Update: yes, this seems to have immediately fixed the issue. Thanks!
