I have been using Topaz Video AI with my 14" M2P MacBook Pro and it works well but it causes the fan to get VERY loud. This annoys me and am considering switching to a desktop instead. I was wondering if the M2 Pro Mac mini is significantly quieter when running the program.

I use Topaz Video AI a lot on my 32gb/1tb m2 Pro Mini. I've never heard the fan. The Mini fan idles silently at 1,700 rpm. The only time I hear the fan is when it is over 4,000 rpm, which has happened only two or three times, six months ago. Usually the Video AI tasks max out around 2,800rpm which is inaudible.
