Just wondering if anyone had ideas for case, strap, etc. to use with mini while using it for a reader in bed.

If you have the smart folio, try spiral folding the cover into a narrow column on the back. I’m finding that very comfortable for one-handed use, and it can be rolled in either direction giving you the choice of which surface is exposed.

I don’t have the folio but that seems like a good reason to try one, or at least a knockoff.

I've found that just adding a minimal rubberized plastic case to make it far more comfortable to hold without adding much weight or size. I had planned to get a strap too, but I canceled that idea after I realized what a big difference more grippy sides made.

i am using a cheap clear case and a strap...total price only $5. Yup it's very helpfull, i can hold my ipad longer when reading in bed, and extra safety specially when i use it out side or when my niece play games.

Sometimes i am using a stand too so i can watch movie, browsing, reading. It's cheap too, only $15.

I think they are a perfect combination...case-strap & stand..i am using them everyday at home. Whwn going somewhere i change to a flip cover.

I didn’t get the Smart Folio, but got a knockoff for $6 on Amazon to see if this would work for me, and it definitely helps!
