Since iOS9 Chrome can open another app, e.g. eBay when being on a search result list and opening one of the results. On first attempt iOS ask me to give that permission. After I once navigated forward on the upper navigation bar in such a case, Chrome stopped opening the eBay app. Inside Chrome I could find settings to open other Google apps only.
