Someone remind me.... Devs can make "universal" apps that will work on iPhone/iPad/Watch/TV, correct? I would assume this would mean that as soon as they add the TV app support to App Store, we'll be able to browse the TV apps on our phone. Unlike the Mac App Store which can only be viewed on a Mac. (Didn't know if the TV App Store could only be browsed on the ATV.)

I wouldn't expect it. You also can't browse iPad apps on your iPhone. But I guess universal apps that have an iPhone version might show "Has an Apple TV app" or something like that. Just like it shows "Compatible with iPad".
