My iPhone and iPad mini 6 are able to render the AppStore just fine. Only my 12.9 iPad Pro cannot.
Does anybody with this problem NOT have a 12.9 iPad Pro?

Same issue on M1 12.9 running 15.4.1.
The iPad mini 6 on 15.4.1 and 2017 12.9 on 14.8.1 are loading fine, though.

Odd that it's random. As I mentioned, it's fine on my 2021 12.9, 15.4.1. I even cycled power to see if that had any effect - no, still works fine with app updates, etc.

Another workaround from there - Launching the App Store App in Portrait screen orientation allows the App to launch
(dup - your update posted as I was typing)
There will be people that read mine and will be: “right like THAT will make a difference”
Then they’ll read yours and be like ok I’ll try it
So double workaround post for the win!

Same here, App Store crashes when opened on Today tab in landscape orientation, on both an IPP 2018 and 2020 12.9".
If I open it in Portrait then switch apps and change to Landscape and open again it still works.

My 12.9 IPP does this. Restarted, no fix. Latest iPadOS.

Same here, although instead of force quitting the AppStore I simply ran other stuff until it needed to reload itself.
The other workaround is to long press on the icon and tap on Search. It’s the Today screen in landscape that crashes the app apparently.
So, after working all morning - until a few minutes ago - this problem now manifests itself on my 2021 12.9. The portrait mode workaround does work for me.
App Store is now marked as experiencing an issue on https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/, along with Apple Music.

PORTRAIT MODE OPENS IT, I wasted 2 hours.
It's back to working on my M1 12.9. I can fully close it out and open it again without a crash (landscape).
