General app update no longer works due to jailbreak

I'm not really sure where I should post this, but since 95% of people that have their phones jailbroken are in here, i'll post it here.

Updated my Directv app through the app store and I now get a message saying that it is not supported on jailbroken devices.

I hope more apps don't go this rout.
