Hello fabulous mac community!

I need some advice regarding my apple intensive wifi network.

I have the following network configuration:

The airport expresses are usually connected to my main wifi, obviously. My network consists of (I think) the last airport extreme and four expresses of various age...

The wifi router seems to be getting on the fritz... wifi is inconsistent for my computers, ipads, apple tv's... and it fails much more often only in the past few weeks. My question for you all is: what should i do to get a reliable network?

-Should I remove some of the older equipment?
-should i take the extreme airport out of the equasion and see if that fits?
-how to avoid having to reconfigure all of my wifi accessories if i take the extreme out of the network? can i reprogram the central express with the same name and password and all the accessories will just reconnect?

At least this one I can answer for you. Yes.
