It's good to see Apple is looking to expand more but what is this for exactly? Could it be for an Online Movie Service or is it something more practical?

Good :)

money is money and online commerce is ALOT more profitable then there apple stores. good for apple :)

even with intel movin in and IBM moving out this says one thing. Micro$oft is next on Steves hit list.

check list
-make personal computers mainsteam
-make a global computer maker look like our nub.... HP
- be first for EVERYTHING- making computers look great , 64 bit , Unix OS that works , Ipod, Online music store that makes money.

with OSX working on x86 since the start apple has in my oppinion possitioning itself to walk all over Micro$oft. Watch Micro$oft comercials the last month, they knew what was going on since the start.

if longhorn falls on its face like many expect it to , Steve has the choice to take Microsoft and shove OSX up there a$$.

Made for iPod

They're probably just putting together an iPod store for their Made for iPod initiative.

Either that or their satellite-delivery of movies service (same-day NetFlix), but that's still a while out.

Would seem odd to (#1) describe this as above (they already have an iPod store, although the marketing there doesn't yet focus on Made for iPod last I checked) and (#2) link duties with this initiative with overseeing iTMS.

Think it is much more likely to be fairly well related to iTMS (but, obviously, as stated, a new business venture) than something unrelated like iPod gadgets etc. That might be movies, or it might be podcasts (although I'd argue the new business description doesn't make as much sense there). Or it might be something we haven't thought of yet.

Obvious

This has to be for the movie store. We already know Apple is going to start offering video downloads on a massive scale (see Page 2 rumor regarding unused iTunes icons) and the ad is talking about developing a business model and working within the iTunes music store. Seems fairly obvious to me.
