Unc0ver jailbreak team uses a kernel security flaw to allow jailbreaking even on the recent iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5 versions. Now Apple has revealed a solution for this. Currently they have released iPadOS 13.5.1, watchOS 6.2.6 and iOS 13.5.1 with a patch which can fix that kernel security flaw.

And also The jailbreak exploit has been released now. ANd currently users can jailbreak their iDevice with installing AltStore and Cydia platforms. Apple has said this patching procedure for the jailbreaking process will take two or three weeks for their hacking team. But it was fixed in a week's time after the jailbreak flaw emerged online.

New things came with iOS 13.5.1, iPadOS 13.5.1 and watchOS 6.2.6

  • Currently Apple has said clearly that there will be important security updates with these new updates and those will be recommended for all users.
  • And also they have said that there will be a fixed for the memory consumption issue and it will allow to the application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges

And one of the lead developers of the Unc0ver team has said that the latest updates have patched the vulnerability that was used to enable jailbreaking earlier. And considering all of these cases we can expect that the new iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS 6.2.6 updates are going to block these recent jailbreak exploits.

Download iOS.13.5.1, iPadOS 13.5.1 and watchOS 6.2.6

  • If you are not interested in the jailbreaking process you can download iOS 13.5.1 on your iPhone or iPadOS 13.5.1 on your iPad.
  • Currently the latest iOS update is available for iOS iDevices which compatible with iOS 13
  • And the new iPadOS update is now compatible with iOS iDevices which have the iPadOS 13 support

If you are not sure about the availability for this update with your iDevice, no need to worry. All you need to do is navigate to the Settings > General > Software Update and check the availability for the update. And make sure to check your battery level and wi-fi connectivity before you start the updating process.
