Hi,
I have a 27in Apple LED Cinema Display and every time I turn on my mac the display is black and has lines in the middle.
Usually the display will start off completely black, except for at the very top, and then get progressively lighter over several minutes until it becomes completely transparent. The screen remains static for another few minutes (can't see mouse movements), until it briefly flickers and then starts working normally. Sometimes it can take 15-20min for it to start working.
I have tried different cables, so not sure what's wrong. Monitor is from 2010. Has the monitor gone bad or anything I can try and fix?
