Hi All. Looking to pick up a Mac Pro 2013 .. Is this still a solid fast machine for 2023 ?

Apple Mac Pro (500GB SSD, Quad-Core Xeon E5, 3GHz, 64GB RAM)

and or

Apple Custom Mac Pro 2009 A1289 Quad Core 8GB-32GB RAM 500GB-1TB HDD SSD GT120 ( Big Tower )

Leaning towards the 2013 Mac Pro.. I can use Ext SSD if needed..

TIA ..

I think I can still go up to Monterey on the 2013 Mac Pro Correct?

Been asked before. 64GB is quite nice, 500GB is mediocre but maybe you can use an adapter to have NVME drives.

The GPUs are always the worry with these machines. You can upgrade them to 2.7ghz 12 core CPU if you are very cautious. The one in my signature is decently fast.

Yes, it will go up to latest Monterey version.
