iCloud Apple Mail and sender with Custom Domain

I use my iCloud mail what custom domain and have noticed that when I compose and send an email from my iPhone or mail in the browser on my Mac the recipients will se my full name listed as the sender.

When composing and sending the mail form Mail on my Mac my email is listed as the sender instead of my name.

Is there any way to also have my name listed as the sender from my Mac?

I had this issue and the way to resolve it is via iCloud.com, go to the mail app > click the cog icon > preferences > accounts > custom email > change full name to what you want

That should work… I think this is the way I resolved it
