Apple MAIL app and gmail

I have multiple different Gmail email accounts set up in MAIL. When I delete a Gmail email in MAIL is it also deleted on my Gmail email server of this email account? OR is the only way a GMAIL email is deleted is by deleting it on the GMAIL server for that email account? Anyone having bought an Apple Mini, please share if you are happy w/ it? Tks

When you delete an email in the iOS Mail app it’s moved to the Trash folder on the Gmail server. You don’t need to delete it via the Gmail web interface.
