Today at exactly 2:43 pm ET (no magic to that as far as I know) while on a Zoom call, my Apple Mail went crazy. Like 1794 spam emails in 45 minutes crazy. A non-stop flow of emails....almost all seem to reflect European companies and are Thanks For Inquiring.

I called Apple and after telling me to update my laptop to the latest version of the OS, which cannot be the cause since the emails are going to every Apple device I own and to non-Apple devices too, they said there was nothing they could do.

It is as if a critical Spam filtering function broke for me. Others are not seeing this I guess.

I use Apple for mail support, and I expect some better support like let us escalate this to a review team. But no.

It has destroyed the ability to use Apple Mail.

Ufff....
