Apple Maps scanning email inbox

How are you sending yourself the address? From the device itself or somewhere else?

From my iPad via iMessage to my phone when I did that. I just tried sending to myself from the same device with the same results.

Is the email with the address still present in your sent mail or has it been sent from a separate address not on you phone?

With email it seems to delete it if the email is deleted unlike messages.

When I was testing it it would find the address if the email was still in my inbox (albeit 2000 miles off in Urbach, Germany while I'm in the US and it was a friends address). Once deleted it no longer brought it up.

Unfortunately it was still bringing the previous address up from when I first posted that's been deleted from messages from over a month ago.

Great feature. Usually if someone sends me an address I need to go there.

Probably just using Spotlight search.

Just updated to iOS 7 on phone. Yep, there on the Apple branded map was "recents" because of some christmas purchases (store address included in emails).

Any update on this issue?
