Many users around the world have noticed and reported that iOS 13.6 (in betas and in its public release), as well as some of the iOS 14 betas, have enabled the previously hidden wallet & apple pay options in countries where apple pay is not yet available such as Oman, Chile, Israel, Colombia, Thailand, Mexico, South Africa or India. At first, some of them thought it was because of the new CarKey feature. However, it turns out that the wallet & apple pay options have also been enabled on devices not compatible with Carkey such as iPhone models older than the X, Watch models older than the series 5, and iPads. Any ideas on why else Apple may have done this other than for CarKey?
