Apple pen (gen 2) are not charging, any solutions?

My apple pencil (gen 2 model) are not charging, it was not used for quite a while, is there any way I can check if the pen is completely dead or can be fixed?

I suggest you try to charge the pencil using an external usb charger. You’ll need a lightning to lightning adapter but they are cheap. Just use the same charger you use to charge your iPhone. If that doesn’t charge the pencil then perhaps the pencil battery has failed.

The Pencil 2 does not have a connector.
