General Apple Remote App crashing due to JB?

Anyone have stability issues with this app after jailbreaking? I'm assuming that's why every time I minimize the app then return to it, it starts freaking out jumping between menu screens on its own until I kill the app and restart it. Resetting my Apple TV and iPhone 6 Plus have no effect.

since I didn't get any bites, let me try asking it this way:

Does anyone with an Apple TV and a jailbroken iPhone have stability issues running the Apple Remote app? On my iPhone, when I minimize the app, then bring it back again, the app starts freaking out, jumping over and over between various menus until I kill it and then restart it.
