It's been a good long while since iPhone 8/8+ were released, and we're approaching 50 days since the X was released. Last year, Apple introduced refurbished iPhone 6s/6s+ 53 days after the 7 launched. It almost looks like Apple is going to skip the refurbished 7/7+ this year. Does anyone think this is the case? I've been holding out for one because I can't stand the thought of paying $650 for a usable storage tier of last year's phone, and I'm not interested in an all glass phone.

Probably holding out for a little until the sales of the 7 slows down. As it was last reported it seemed like brand new units were moving nicely still.

7 (Plus) is selling better than the stillborn 8 (plus), so I don't see them offering refurbs at all.

I do. It's just not on the timeline with what everybody expects. The iPhone 7 is selling well because it's heavily discounted , but they likely need to have an allocated amount in a specific color or storage when it does become for sale as refurbished.

Yup, 7 plus is hitting all the right pricing and feature sweet spots for many people this year. Wait a little longer then.
