Apple to Participate in Macworld San Francisco 2003

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., and CUPERTINO, Calif., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/
-- IDG World Expo and Apple(R) (NASDAQ:AAPL) today confirmed Apple's
participation in Macworld Conference & Expo/San Francisco 2003, which will be
held at San Francisco's Moscone Center January 6-10, 2003.
Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday,
January 7, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. PST and Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice
president of Worldwide Product Marketing, will give a presentation on "The
Power of X" on Wednesday, January 8, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. PST.

Boston would really suck, not that Boston is a bad place. It is just that New York is in the middle while boston is way too far up. Keep the it in the middle otherwise fewer people will be able to make it

I had no doubt that Steve would decide to participate in MWSF, mutually beneficial for IDG & Apple. I think Steve will participate in MWNY & give his keynote. Boston is a great place to visit, MW Boston will be a success, just as it was before!

I think I recall that the geographical center of the U.S. (not including Hawaii and Alaska) was Mason City, Iowa. I'd go to a mac show there. Don't think I'd go to Boston.

Bah! They should have it here in Melbourne. Sure it would be the most poorly attended MacWorld in history, but I'd get to go

Oh well, maybe one day I'll get over to the US and my visit will just happen to be planned so I'm near a MacWorld Perhaps when we see quad 3 GHz G5s released in the iBook...

Yeah, I think it would have been a bad move if apple decided
not to go to MWSF. It would be an even worse descision if they
decide to go and not release new hardware (powermacs). That
would make me, and most other people, very mad. I am not
disregarding that possibility, because apple has made me
plenty mad before. It definitely won't be the 1st time.
