Apple TV Apple Tv 1rst Generation Or 2nd Generation?

Hello everyone.

As you can see this is my 1rst post and I have doubts regarding Apple Tv.

I will buy a Apple Tv soon but do not know which one to buy.

Probably Its going to be one already jailbreaked although if I can find one that isnt jailbreaked but its cheap then its fine as well ( I have never jailbreaked an ATV before but I have jaibreaked Iphones and Ipod Touch, so I think I can manage an ATV)

Anyways so my question is which would be better to buy? (Whats the main difference between the both of them)

Does the ATV jailbreak ever get outdated or stopped?

The first gen Apple TV is like 6 years old. Don't buy that. Outdated hardware & software.
It's like buying an iPhone 3G in 2013. No warranty, slow and so on.

If you don't need wifi and can live with hard wire network connection.
There really is nothing wrong with the first gen ATV if you install a broadcom Video/Audio hardware decoder BCM970012 Crystal HD PCI Express mini card Hardware Decoder for Apple TV 1080p in the airport slot.

The price of these cards is now around $10

This is a nice option if on a budget
