I use Apple Tv 4K 3rd gen on a Samsung Q60T tv. HDR10 works fine on all apps, including Netflix and Prime Video. I also get HDR10+ on Apple tv.

The problem is Disney+. HDR content is very very dark, looks like the app is not sending any HDR10 metadata to the Tv. I also tested the app on a Fire Stick, and in that case it works correctly.

Is this a widespread issue on tvs that do not support Dolby Vision (Samsung) but only HDR10/HDR10+? Anyone with a Samsung tv can confirm this bug?

I mostly get errors from Disney+ on Apple TV saying that I have a HDCP problem and to get a new HDMI cable. If I restart the Apple TV it will work (proving there is no problem with HDCP) but I never have problems watching Disney+ using the app on the LG smart TV. I don’t think Disney+ give a damn the problem it has been around so long.
