I just bought the Apple USB-C to USB-C charging cable because I needed a longer one than the one that came in the box for the Dell U2723QE monitor I just got. On Apple's website it says it's for charging, syncing, and transferring data between USB-C devices.
Is this cable compatible for displaying monitor data?
The USB-C cable that came with the monitor works to detect the display and I can see just fine, but as soon as I plug in the Apple USB-C cable the monitor isn't detected.
Is there maybe some other setting I need?
