Can someone explain what additional coverage you get with these? On the website it states you get "two years of hardware repair coverage and up to two years of complimentary support" Does this not cover accidental damage like paying for Apple Care + would?

For edition and hermes ac+, u get the extension to THREE years (normally it's 2). So it's generally +1yr vs non edition/hermes models, which is 1+1yrs.

On the ac+ coverage it's the same as all watch models (aside from coverage time) for the 2 accidental damage incidents. I think what you are referring to is the base warranty which is only for non-accidental hardware failure or battery failure.
