iPhone XS Max AppleCare and early payoff

Hi! I apologize if this has been answered before. My wife has an iPhone XS Max on IUP from last year.

She likes it so she decided to not do an upgrade this year. We still have almost a year left on completing the payments.

My question is if we decided to pay off the full loan early, would we remain under the AppleCare plan that Apple makes you get with their IUP until next year?

Hopefully my question is making sense. Appreciate everyone’s guidance on this in advance.

Yes you still keep the Applecare Plus even after you pay off the loan. It's good for 2 years from the start date.

You keep it cause you paid for it. Its not included with the phone, you are forced to buy it when you put a phone on IUP.
