I had a code for 3 months free, so I let my paid subscription lapse... when I tried to use the code, it refused, saying that I had already reached the limit for "that type" of promotion... so I went to pay for the subscription... then things got weird... The monthly cost it $6.99, and the annual cost is $99. They used to give a break (2 months free) for an annual subscription... but they are actually charging a $15 premium for the annual subscription - $7 * 12 = $84 - $99 = $15 EXTRA charge. WTF, Timmy?

The yearly subscription used to be $69 and was increased to $99. Likewise, the monthly subscription used to be $6.99 and increased to $9.99.

I'm guessing it's showing you the old monthly price since you were an "existing" monthly customer with the trial and giving you a 30-day grace period.

Wow... I nearly choked on the price bump from $4.99 to $6.99... not going to swallow the additional $3 bump...

Appreciate the info...
I was monthly and got the 30 day grace period. As soon as I saw this increase I jumped on the $69 annual rate for the next year. I'll decide if it's worth keeping when it comes up for renewal a year from now.
