I have a late 2008 MBP that’s become my jukebox in my music room. I really like this model so I’m debating blowing $100 to get a new 3rd party battery and 8GB RAM upgrade for it.
My 2002 iPod 2nd generation still works, though the battery only lasts about an hour or so. Also have 2010 and 2012 MBAs that work fine, although the 2010 is starting to get neglected due to its 2GB RAM limitation. The 2012 MBA is now my wife’s daily driver.
