When I upgraded to Monterey from Mojave, I noticed that much of my imported music was either missing it's artwork, or had the wrong artwork. I have since gone back and added / corrected much of it, which was a pain, but I'm still seeing that most of the artist profile photos are missing.
In settings, I noticed that the "automatically update artwork for imported songs" checkbox is unchecked in the Preferences -> Advanced page.
I'm hoping that if I check that the artist images will start to show up, but I'm concerned that it will screw up my manually configured album artwork. Anyone have any idea?
I am not an Apple Music subscriber and use the app to manage my imported and purchased music.
