Hi everyone,

I’m checking the differences between phones and, aside from the camera and Dynamic Island, is there really any major difference between the phones?

Like, sure, a few extra hours of battery life and Always-On Display is neat, but maybe it’s not something the average person would care about.

Newer chip, yeah, but the A15 bionic chip is already pretty darn good.

So unless you wanted a better camera and dynamic island, the iPhone 14 Plus is pretty much an iPhone 14 Pro Max?

You can compare all the specs on apple.com, but here are the things only the pro lineup has:
- High refresh rate/promotion
- always-on display
- higher peak brightness (up to 2000 nits outdoor)
- dynamic island
- more advanced cameras
- more battery
- More recent chip
- Stainless steel/more heavy

Now the question is if you care about any of those characteristics. Some people value those things, but I wouldn't qualify any of that as must have features. If you don't care about any of those, save some money and enjoy the 14 Plus
