iPhone 12 Pro Asking Siri 'where's my phone' on signed-in device triggers alarm!

Was extremely surprised this morning to find asking Siri on my laptop, 'where's my phone' triggered the super loud 'radar' style notification alarm on the handset. Is this a new feature?!

No, it’s not anything new. I’ve done the same thing a few times from my iPad or Apple Watch.
