I was surprised that MR didn't cover this. Astropad launched yesterday and it lets you use your iPad as a drawing tablet. I don't know what they're doing different to Air Stylus, but it's very good! It works both via USB and wifi.

Depending on your connection, it might vary. I didn't have a problem using it over wifi in another room last night though.

Looks like a great app. It's unfortunate that it makes use of the iPad's worst feature, the screen touch sensor. I've tried a dozen different styli -- spent hundreds of dollars -- and nothing works as well on the iPad screen as a proper digitizer like Wacom or Ntrig does.
If Apple would only incorporate a good digitizer on the iPad screen, this app would kill the Cintiq.
I'll probably spring for it to try it out. After all, what's $50 after spending all that money on styli?
