I would like to be able to attach a tray to an existing application for which I lack the source code and am 100% certain that I won't have access to it nor even to the developers to be able to get them to add the functionality I wish to add.
That said, is it doable? I'm thinking in terms of something through an API call or somesuch as opposed to actually having to crack open a .nib and alter the application itself.
