What are the differences in how autocorrect and predictive keyboard works? Don't both use the same keyboard dictionary?

Autocorrect tries to correct words you mistype.

Predictive attempts to predict what word you will type next based on your past conversations or sentence structures.

Autocorrect actually changes what you type based on what it thinks is a typo. Predictive just shows you 3 options on top of the keyboard while you're typing, you have the option of tapping on an option if the word is too long or hard to type.
