Automatic Brightens boosting shadows????

Right..so my display is 100% brightens and i have the Mac pre-installed wallpaper, so when i click on Auto Brightens i've noticed that the bottom area the shadows are getting pulled like lifting shadows in Lightroom

Any one else could test this?
