How do I get my iMac to automatically connect to a specific wireless network? Granted Im using a closed network, but i've done it before. Now I have to enter in the name and password everytime I wake the computer from sleep or reboot.

I've already gone to system pref and entered in "join specific network" but that hasn't seemed to make any difference.

Any thoughts?

go into applications > utilities > keychain access and see if the AirPort password is correct/saved. if not you can enter it in. when you join the network it might ask if you want to remember it (i'm sure you've seen and or done that already though) if that password is in your keychain it shouldn't prompt you for it each time. at least, as far as i know. ;)
