Hi there,
another question about tethering.
I use an iPhone 3GS as the tethered "base" for an iPad and, occasionally, a MBP while on the go.
Since I do need to take the phone with me but leave the other stuff locked in the car, I'd like the iPad to: 1. automatically reconnect to the iPhone when it's back in range, and 2. have it disconnect tethering when a known wifi is detected. or 3.
On the MBP it's pretty easy as it sits in the menu, but on an i-Device, one needs to go in settings, then Internet Sharing and cut it off on the phone. It's less practical.
Would there be an either Cydia-issue or another way to achieve this behavior? Since the 3GS is a rather slow device to today's standards, this only adds up to slowness.
