I am responsible for most of the AV needs of our company. Most of it is relatively basic however we do have some somewhat high end gear. What I would like to do is be able to speak with our vendor and their support staff in a more technical way that I can communicate at a higher level (ie other than saying this Mic is not working or the video feed from that camera is off I want to be able to speak more technically so that we can more quickly get to the root of what our problem is).
What I am really looking for is some training materials. I was wondering if this would be a good place to start
If not what would be some good material to use to get terminology, component usage/descriptions and industry descriptions that I could use?
