All iPads Bad time to buy a refurbished Air 5?

Hi, I need to buy an iPad before April 1 (my job gives me 500$can for it).

My needs are pretty basic, but I want to keep it for a long time as my other ipad (I had the iPad 2, the air 2 and now an air 3).

So my choice are iPad 10th gen (currently new on sale at 500$(reg 600$), or a refurbished (excellent condition) air 5 at 600$.

I guess I’m better paying 100$ from my pocket to get an air 5 even if it’s refurbished vs a new one.

I know the air 6 will be release in a couple of days but it will be to expensive anyway.

I guess my question is it is a bad time to buy a refurbished air or they won’t be cheaper even when the air 6 will get release?

You said it! It'll be too expensive considering the budget you've got, so go ahead and get it. I would've waited if possible since 64GB are nowhere near enough for anyone, maybe check refurbished pros if you can spend a bit more
