Looking to either get a base model M1 MBP or the higher end model (sold in stores) version of the MacBook Air M1 (512GB), the prices nearly overlap! of course most would assume go with the pro, is one machine going to be faster than the other or able to handle video, more web based content, multitasking and office? I only have owned one MBA years ago and it was pretty slow in opening pages and drove me nuts... why would one choose the Air, over the Pro in this case considering nearly identical price differences?

Thanks for asking this question for me, too! Thread set to watched, I am looking forward to the responses to this.

For me, currently, the main thing leading me towards the MBA, is the weight of the thing. Albeit, with working from home, not sure that is really a factor. But...

They are both Great machines, The MBP is going to shine a little more but the MBA is certainly faster than most current laptops.

Edit: I think you got your title wrong, MBP vs MBP, You can change that
