I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard), and this is the version of bash, the shell that is installed:

/bin/bash --version

You forgot to add a download link. I also have 4.4.12 i built in Sept. 2017 if one wants to update their bash on Leopard.

I built the latest version of dash. That's dash, not to be confused with bash.
