with HTML editors, you kind of get what you pay for. BBEdit might still exist and be free, and there used to be a couple of others, try searching versiontracker.com. GoLive, Dreamweaver, etc are all pay editors that most people prefer. Netscape Composer is good, and free, but I don't know if there is an X version out there.

You could always learn HTML :) it's something anyone looking to get into web sharing should definitely do. an hour's worth of reading on the 'net should give you enough basics to whip something basic up, tho some people simply cannot grasp simple code... it's a lot like the vBcode that you can use in these very posts...
