It’s normal. My 10 month old 7+ last year was at 89% last year before I got my XR.

Since it’s almost 1 year old, there should be 250-300 cycles on it since you’re not a heavy user. The battery is designed to have 80% health at 500 cycles - so nothing out of the ordinary. My December 2018 XR is at 96%.

Seems about normal. I changed the battery on my release day iPhone X in November 2018 and it was down to 92% at the time. The current battery is at 94% right now.

My four year old iPhone has 1185 loadcycles on it and it's battery health today is at 94.9%. I never charge it to 100%.

iPhone 7 here. 3 years old in around 2 months or so. 86% battery. Always charge to 100% over nite.
Would be interested to hear how low others have gotten before phone operations started to get noticibly worse.

Man don’t pay attention to it. Battery degrades. It’s a fact of life. When it’s too much just change it. It’s not worth it to obsess about such a trivial thing. Charge your phone whenever you want and enjoy and use the phone. Done deal. I stopped looking at my battery health the first month. I’ll change the battery next year.

Depends on how much you use it. My x is at 91% and I bought at launch. But I use it much less since I have an Apple Watch.

I realize this is a bit of a tangent but I credit AW for getting me away from looking st my phone as often. I set alerts to only show more critical things and the less important stuff simply waits now. It's been a godsend.

If you have AppleCare they will replace your battery when it hits below 79% battery health for free. Otherwise if you feel you must , you can buy a new battery for $69.99 now.

It’s still running at peak performance.

97% since launch day for my Max. My charging routine..... When I go to bed I'm around 20 to 40 percent. If I think I'm going to do some reading on it before I turn in, I'll stick it on the charger for 20 minutes while I take care of the pre sleep stuff (shower, teeth, etc). When I hit the sack at 11pm it gets hooked to an Anker charger and it probably hits 100% at around one or two in the morning. And of course it's trickle charging after that. At 6:30 am it's off the charger and on to work. Rarely if ever charge at work. I'm giving all this otherwise too-much-information-detail to see how it contrasts with others who have a lower battery health. I consider 97% excellent.

My 6 showed 100% after four years, even though it had been throttled. I got the battery replaced under the cheaper option anyway. No idea why it didn’t show real degradation.

We have a 5s laying around, bought new back in 2012/2013 (can’t remember), my husband used it as his daily driver until a couple months ago. It’s not as speedy as it once was, but I wouldn’t call it laggy and it runs apps just fine. No loss of any functionality. No option to see battery health but I imagine way under 80%. FWIW

My iPhone 7 128GB has 100% battery health. Unlike what people say, I think the iPhone 7 has pretty strong battery life throughout the day. I usually have around 30-40% battery left when I get home from work everyday. I work 12 hours everyday.

All good so far.
