I have done nothing compared to what I used to be able to do with 100 percent and after 2 hours still be at like 70 but I’m at 50 with only two hours of use none of these apps used to draw this much power before the update Apple fix this sh** now

Same concern here with my iPhone X running iOS 14.6 - excessive drain like no other prior version.

My iPhone X’s battery starts the morning with only 20% remaining battery despite having been properly seated on a wireless charger overnight (as I verify that it wasncharging). My Apple case is a folio type with a flap.

Update: Worked fine today. The sweetspot position on the wireless charger is quite narrow. The Mag chargers on new iPhone 12’s presumably eliminates this issue.

No issues on iPhone 12. Down to 98% after 6.5 hours today - 3 hrs and 24 min of light duty mostly: email, text, Safari, various utilities.

XR here with 14.6 - nothing special use and it tends to plummet after a couple of hours, and at > 20% and being charged by 3pm. Settings > Battery suggests worst offender by far is Facebook, followed by browser (regardless of one I use), even when I make a point of closing app when done.

Something squiffy here - especially when reports are over the place as to drain.

Hey OP! My 11 Pro I need to charge multiple times a day, and I don't use my phone much! I'm usually in front of computer during work day. It used to last all day easily on 1 charge, I could even forget to charge it at night and still be OK the next day.

Also, I have a 1997 Miata - NA represent!

Yeah, mine too. On 11 PM.
Was good.m, until I rebooted last night. Now I am at 40%, didnt even usr my phone since 9 am.
Last two benchmarks are on 14.6. Other 3 on 14.5. And 14.5.1.

Apple is doing this on PURPOSE! End!

Edit:

I paired/unpaired watch, because I ran onto a post from member (Reddit). And it is ok now. Geekbench is back to normal, and battery is as before. I dont know what caused the problem.

iPhone 12 Mini. Definitely significant battery dropoff after 14.6 update. Don't know if it is because it is indexing for a couple of days or what.

But usually end of the day I am around 70% or higher. And the past couple of days (with less screen time!) I have ended the day at 30-32% battery. Something is draining it and I haven't changed my usage habits any.

Will keep track of it for the next week or so and see if it gets any better.
