Today when I connected my MBA to my power adapter, the battery icon in the top right hand corner stated it was fully charged at 95%. I restarted the computer, but to no avail. Could this be caused by the battery being depleted over time and losing its charge? The only thing I can find wrong with that theory is that yesterday the meter stated it was fully charged at 100%? Anyone else experience this bug? BTW, its a 2.13 rev c.

this happens if its unplugged and plugged in without draining the battery much.

i have had this happen as low as 93% , once i drained it a bit more it would charge full again.

i dont think it will initiate the charge sequence if it does not discharge low enough.

not 100% though.

Mine does the same thing. I have assumed it is justa glitch in SL. It usually works right the next day.

i have had this happen in leopard, so its not a glitch, but a hardware feature.

most likely to prevent the unnecessary wear on cells.
