I know many topics have been opened here about whats the best lcd's etc...but anyway i am going to be getting a new lcd for christmas but need some advice on what to look for and what is the best for my budjet..anyway i would like a silver colored lcd but black would be fine...anyway, i will be using it with my powermac g5 w/ radeon 9600 XT 128mb video card if its matters at all. i was looking for at least a 20"-22" lcd for under $600-650. i was considering the viewsonic in the link below but if somone knows a better lcd for the money let me know :D http://viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/xseries/vx2245wm/

" It looks like the best 20in widescreen monitor may be a 21in widescreen monitor." (from trustedreviews.com)
Check it out:
http://www.trustedreviews.com/displays/review/2006/06/26/Samsung-SyncMaster-215TW-21in-Monitor/p1

You can get it here for $ 450.oo after a $ 30.oo rebate:

Even better is the Samsung 214T, $ 700.oo:

From an expert: "From all I could tell from all the documentation and talking with the Samsung representative the performance factors of the Syncmaster 214T should be the same as the 244T in a size that has 3 inches chopped off the sides - its not as wide as the 244T but just as tall."

Check out his bigger brother review:

This may help you compare:
