Best design LCD?

I do a mix of illustration and photography work, thanks to dorms designed for gnomes I'm going to have to give up my gorgeous Sony CRT and get myself an LCD, what Make/Model is the best for design work? Obviously my priorities are colour accuracy and ability to display 'true' black, I've done a fair bit of hunting around but most reviews are more focussed on whether it's good for gaming than graphics. At the moment I'm looking at the NEC 2080UX+ but I'd be happy with a 17" or 19", particularly if it's better where it counts.

Quite personally, I love the past-model Apple Cinema displays more than I do the new ones. They're much more inexpensive now; I'd get one of those.
